With the new product release in mid-February for SAP Signavio, the Process Mining module, Process Intelligence, has received a major upgrade.
For the longest time, process analysts had to create and define their own process metrics for end-to-end processes. Not anymore! SAP Signavio has introduced the Metric Library, containing dozens of pre-defined, best-practice process metrics for each process available in SAP Signavio’s Value Accelerator collection.
But what does that mean?
Imagine you followed our last advice and installed the Value Accelerator to track your EWM Warehouse processes by jumpstarting your Process Mining. Great!
But now where do you go from here? You have beautiful, pre-defined Process Analysis Dashboards to look at and to use, but the process metrics (read also: Process Performance Indicators) are still empty…
This all changed with the new update: SAP Signavio now offers a comprehensive library of ready-to-use, easy-to-install, and adjustable Process Metrics with the click of a button.
Taking it one step further.
With the latest feature update, SAP Signavio now also includes Auto-Insights as a tab in the process view.
When opening this view for the first time, or whenever making changes to the view (i.e. changing filters, groupings, etc.), the widgets have to reload, as this view offers AI-generated automatic insights, based on Process Metrics set up or discovered in the Process Data through SAP Signavio’s own Process AI.
That’s right! Simply opening this page and waiting for a minute will generate ready-to-use Process Insights based on identified anomalies in your Process Data. This view can also be filtered by any available attribute or grouped by metrics to narrow down the analysis scope.
The generated widgets can be saved as Insights for use in the SAP Signavio Collaboration Hub or saved as Widgets for further customization (including adjustments to the SiGNAL code) in your own Dashboards or Investigations.
