The Challenge – From spreadsheets to compliance-ready systems.
The biotech company needed GAAP-aligned, IPO-ready reporting; SOX/SSAE18 controls from day one; a digital audit trail; and the ability to scale processes without increasing manual workloads.
Initially, early financial operations ran on spreadsheets and shared folders, which was sufficient. However, as investor expectations increased, issues began to arise. And it was really important to make sure that Belenos could complete the implementation quickly to file taxes on time.
