Joachim is motivated by his professional passion to generate value in supply chains. As Practice Director and Regional Industry Head DACH for chemicals & process industry at Westernacher, he is responsible for digital transformations along the supply chain. Joachim combines applied business thinking with a strong technological background and accounts for research activities about value contribution of artificial intelligence (AI). He is a strong expert in MACH-architecture and SAP-based operating models, experienced plant manager and former business unit head.Joachim is author of numerous studies and articles on supply chain and AI trends, award winning project manager and is frequent speaker at conferences as well as lecturer at universities.

Lipana
In his role, Michael provides hands-on leadership and administration of various SAP systems, including SAP ERP, SAP NetWeaver, SAP Enterprise Portal, and SAP Solution Manager. He oversees inventory control processes such as receipt, storage, picking, and loading, ensuring accurate management and stock control through the SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS). He also implements best practices for warehouse layout and operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives for SAP MM (Materials Management) and WM (Warehouse Management) processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key, as Michael gathers requirements, align SAP functionalities with business needs, and manage stakeholder communication. Additionally, he conducts system testing, troubleshooting, and provide technical support to maintain data accuracy and integrity within SAP systems. Michael also participates in the implementation and training of SAP systems, mentoring team members and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Platzer
Matthias has 13+ years of experience in terminal operations, maritime procedures, cargo handling in ports and railway hubs, with extensive experience in yard automation. He assesses customer and market requirements and supports clients on their digitization journey to achieve operational excellence in supply chain networks. For optimal support, he offers a combination of business process design and the selection of appropriate IT-tools.

Presich
As General Manager of Westernacher Austria, Armin hold accountability for both the Austrian Consulting Unit and Market Unit, driving overall growth and success. He oversees the entirety of our operations while strategically steering our trajectory towards continued expansion. With a robust background spanning Sales Management, (SAP) Management Consulting, Project Management, and Rapid Business Development (SaaS license Sales), Armin brings a wealth of expertise to the table. His proficiency extends to Sales Methodologies, with a specialized focus on MEDDIC and SPIN. Central to his professional ethos are several guiding principles: honesty and transparency, adaptability and agility, the cultivation of mutually beneficial outcomes, and a propensity for innovative thinking and unconventional “hands-on” problem-solving strategies.
