We are thrilled to share the remarkable moments from the National Logistics Digitization Forum that was held on August 18, 2023, at Taj Palace, New Delhi India.
As a proud partner of this event, Westernacher joined hands with SAP and Zebra to bring together industry giants and visionaries for a day filled with insights and collaborative discussions.
At this event we delved into the vital subject of digitization and its alignment with the NLP framework, ensuring a smooth integration with SAP.

Event Agenda.
The National Logistics Forum covered a diverse range of discussions. It began with a keynote address about government policies and initiatives by Mr Sudhendu J. Sinha.
Eminent customers, Mr. Rushil Thakkar, Rushil Decor, Mr. Amit Jain, OLAM, Mr. Atul Gupta, Supergas and Mr. Ashish Verma, Mondelez who are at the forefront of technology shared insights on digital technology, offering perspectives on the adaptation of digital technologies, and how they are planning to go ahead with new government initiatives.
SAP presented its technology layers, while Zebra Technologies discussed its automated data collection methods to improve the logistics processes.
Westernacher team shared our years of expertise in warehouse modernization, standardized automated warehouses, and achieving end-to-end visibility through SAP Business Networks.
The event ended with insightful customer stories of product and process innovation. Mondelez, a multinational food and beverage conglomerate, known for its portfolio of popular brands in the snacking, confectionery, and beverage sectors, shared their experiences on how they improved their logistics processes.
Supergas, a prominent Indian company specializing in providing clean and efficient LPG solutions, spoke about numerous challenges with local distribution and how they overcame these hurdles with digital adoption.
The event witnessed the dynamic collaboration of the Government of India, SAP, Zebra Technologies and our esteemed customers.
Message from Government.
Mr. Sudhendu J. Sinha, an eminent representative of the Government of India (NITI Aayog), emphasized the need for collaborative efforts between government, state authorities, industry partners, private players, and think tanks to achieve world-class infrastructure.
He highlighted the synergy of the logistics sector with our growing infrastructure to achieve optimal and seamless growth and the role of end-to-end digital solutions that will revolutionize this sector.
Mr. Sudhendu J. Sinha also emphasized a green supply chain and the Government’s openness to feedback and suggestions for the betterment of logistics in India.
Message from SAP.
India is witnessing a change in the logistics landscape. The first phase was the introduction of GST by the government, which resulted in the centralization of taxes. National Logistics Policy (NLP) is the second part of the logistics transformation plan that the Government is planning to execute.
The introduction of NLP will bring a shift in the business landscape, taking into account the evolving technology and digital trends in the logistics sector.
